This has been said many times before and I'm going to say it again, we all should take advantage of the opportunities our own neighborhood affords. I live in a beautiful area of East Tennessee and I get very complacent about not photographing right in my own backyard. So the other morning, I was awake early and I decided to go up the road from my house, about a 1/4 from my driveway and shoot sunrise. I see it a lot there but never stop and take the time. I was glad I did, the sunrise was pretty but I just felt better about getting out and I believe it's motivated me to get out to other "neighborhood" spots.
